    Created Objects - Breaking vs. Destroying

    I know it takes three degrees of failure on a Toughness check to destroy an object.

    I was wondering about the "breaking" part, i.e. when you get two degrees of failure on the Toughness check. Say you create a wall, and it gets damaged, but not destroyed. What are the effects going forward? It obviously shouldn't be as effective at blocking attacks, but it's not destroyed, so do you give a bonus of some kind to future attacks? I don't think the Toughness would change, but thematically it does. so how do you translate that into game mechanics?

    Maybe the level of Cover changes? Complete cover versus Total. Partial Cover versus Complete.
