    Did a little research and forgot that the proportions of a child and an adult are off. So the 1/8 formula should apply. Every -1 size rank should involve -3 mass ranks (and -3 volume ranks).

    Height and mass do not scale at a proportionate rate. Height is one-dimensional, mass is three-dimensional. If you double in height while maintaining scale that's an eight fold increase in mass.

    I'm well aware of the cubing of mass. But at +/-1 mass per 1 rank the system is multiplying by 2^4 instead of 2^3.
