    But i suspect i forgot about the coordinate action option. Doh!

    If I am understanding your intent, you want to reflect a man's skill in Fighting in his CD for close combat.The logic being, the more skilled he is, the better he can respond to attacks.

    If I wanted to do that I would change the CD formula, not add the Fighting on top.

    Agility+Athletics+Fighting vs. Fighting attacks.

    Agility+Athletics+Awareness vs. Marksmanship attacks.

    Aside from a minor change to 'Distract' it would accomplish your goal without potentially breaking anything else.

    I would just remind you that Fighting and Persuasion are the King abilities in the game. I don't really see the need of making either of them stronger.
