    Chip on his shoulder: Growing up as the weakest of his family, Loukas is constantly trying to prove himself to others
    Fighting for the underdog: Loukas is always looking to help the underdog and oppose bullies and can be more easily manipulated in these circumstances
    Lost time: Having been kidnapped from Earth when he was very young, there are a lot of things he missed.
    Motivation- Doing Good: Despite his rather rough upbringing and treatment, Loukas learned the value of doing good and strives to help others
    Relationship: Loukas is loyal to all of his family, despite his treatment, but especially to to his Mother Harlena and sister Alexandra. His true father, Count Reich is another story entirely.
    Secret: As the son of Count Reich, Loukas is trying to keep his real heritage a secret to avoid inevitable fallout.

    Loukas grew up the youngest son of the royal court of King Leophron. He was also very weak and frail compared to his siblings. He had dreams of a life on another world but was always told not to speak of them. Eventually the dreams faded away.

    In a world that valued strength and combat, Loukas would have died off early if not for the actions of both his Mother and his sister Alexandra. His mother placed enchanted tattoos on him to strengthen hif frail body and his sister set aside special time to help him catch up in his combat training.

    As he grew, his mother noticed his cleverness, so she would secretly teach him the magical arts, making him promise to never use them in from of the family. With magic banished from the world, she was part of a secret order that protected the knowledge until such time as magic would be once again allowed.

    Alexandra learned his secret a short time later when she was secretly following him on a solo hunt and he was ambushed by a small group of Grylkin, the ancient enemies of the land. Using magic to save himself, Alexandra revealed herself and promised to keep their secret.

    It was many years later, when the Grylkin were massing a major force in preparation for an attack that Loukas found something more insidious through a divining spell. As his father led the armies off into an ambush, Loukas, with the help of Alexandra, broke into father's trophy room and stole several items that could be used to stop the Grylkin plan.

    Loukas and Alexandra were both successful, but Loukas was forced to reveal his magical sklill. Unfortunatley, he was so successful that there was no evidence left of the ambush and to his father and other brothers, it looked like he was trying to usurp control of the world.

    At his trial, his mother revealed the truth that she taught him the magic forcing his father to end the ban on magic or be forced to execute his wife. He lifted the ban, but ruled that Loukas would be exiled. He then revealed that Loukas was from another world and not his real son after all.

    Without another word, his father exiled Loukas - and Alexandra who chose to share his fate - to his home world of Earth, where he began to realize the dreams of living on another world were all real.

    Edit 1: Added 3pp to array, bumping the two afflictions to 9. Added 1pp to skills, +1 to Close Combat and +1 to Expertise Magic.

    Chip on his Shoulder - Treylin wants to prove he is better than his older, villainous self
    Driven - Treylin is desperate to escape the future of becoming Professor Zed and will risk everything for a chance to get it
    Enemy - Professor Zed wants to return his younger self to his destiny to restore his own history. In addition, many enemies of Professor Zed see killing Treylin as an opportunity to be rid of the future villain.
    Motivation: Doing Good - Treylin is trying to be the opposite of older self by doing things to benefit others
    Relationship: Treylin has a relationship with Aliera, who serves on a separate ship working out of Sanctuary. She is one of the few who knows his secret.
    Secret - Treylin is secretly the younger version of Professor Zed, and doesn't want that getting out.

    A teenage Evron Zediker was approached by an elderly man from the future with a warning that time agents had been sent to kill him. When actual rogue time agents did appear to kill him and the elderly man rescued him, Evron thought he had found a mentor and benefactor. Evron was given a suit of armor similar to the older man's and he began to tutor him in science and dimensional physics.

    But it wasn't long before Evron realizes this man was himself from the future and he was trying to change his own past by preparing his younger self for the battles he would be waging in his future. Young Evron wanted nothing to do with this future, instead preferring to seek out his own destiny. He fled from his older self back to Emerald City. Changing his name to Treylin, he sought out the Sentinels for assistance against their common enemy. And while he worked with them for a time, eventually Professor Zed came to seize his younger self. When the Sentinels learned Treylin was actually a younger version of Zed, they thought he was part of some elaborate trap and turned on him.

    Treylin fled and after several more encounters with Professor Zed, he realized the elder was using his armor to track him. He disassembled the armor, destroyed the tracking equipment, and rebuilt a new suit from scratch. This was not enough to escape Professor Zed, so he eventually made his way to Terminus which seemed to block the elder Zed's ability to scan for and find him.

    Treylin has spend many years in Terminus trying to find away to break himself out of the destiny of becoming Professor Zed.

    Enemies: Ryan's former identity of Bushi has a lot of enemies in the hero community, some of which don't believe he is a hero now.
    Nightmares: Ryan still has nightmares from his time as Bushi and sometimes the dreams prevent him from getting any rest.
    Watched: As a former supervillain, Ryan has been "lojacked" with a subcutaneous transmitter that lets authorities find him whenever they want.
    Vulnerability: The length of time Ryan spent under Kōgō's enchantment leaves him vulnerable to magical control.

    When the sorceress Kōgō entered our realm, Ryan was one of the first people she encountered. A security guard at a small office suite, he was in the middle of an encounter with some gang members looking to rob one of the Doctor's offices. Kōgō's arrival interrupted the encounter. She killed the gang members but chose a different fate for Ryan. As his job was "guard," she chose to make him her new personal guard. Locking him in a magical armor, Ryan was turned into her enchanted Bushi. Bushi and Kōgō were a terror to heroes for five years. Her magical powers and his magically enchanted combat skills and indestructible armor made them a world conquering threat like few others.

    It was after an attack that killed multiple heroes, that several teams joined up to take them down. A dozen heroes joined together and cracked Bushi's armor, leaving Ryan in a daze. With his armor cracked, the enchantment over his mind was broken. Without her guardian, Kōgō was no match for the assembled heroes. She was forced to flee to her home dimension and several Magi joined together and cast a spell preventing her from crossing back over into our dimension.

    Without the spell of the armor enchanting his mind, the heroes realized that Ryan was as much a victim of Kōgō as everyone else. It was decided that the armor and sword would be secured away and he would be allowed to resume his normal life. A few efforts were made to get him resettled, but some of the heroes didn't buy the "magic spell" defense, so they took precautions to watch over him.

    Over the next few months, Ryan began to realize that all that time in the armor left him different. He still had the fighting skills and a residual enchantment left him quite stronger and tougher. And he felt quite a bit of guilt over his time as a villain despite it not being his fault. So he started doing what he could to clean up the neighborhood he was living and working in.

    One of the heroes watching over him saw what he was doing and decided to help. He equipped Ryan with some better than average gear so that he could fight crime, now as Ronin.

    Background Update
    Liam's muscular dystrophy began to return after he lost the benefits of the serum his father gave him. He hid it from everybody, using his telekinesis to move around. The strain of constantly using his powers caused the disease to progress even quicker than anticipated. While visiting Dakana, he completely burned out his telekinetic abilities defending the poisoned King M'Balla from Baako mutate army.

    However, Michelle took notes that Baako had on his father's formula and used sacred herbs of Dakana to reformulate the serum and restore his superhuman physical abilities and arrest the disease. Upon his return, Nevex decided they wouldn't be able to stop him from the superhero life, so they setup some assistance for him so he wouldn't endanger the company.

    Enemy: Philip has been fighting various mystic villains as he has moved about the country; he also is battling a
    mysterious digital entity in cyberspace who wants him to stay away.
    Family: Philip's father, Reizo Saito, is trying to force Philip to move back to Freedom City and control him. He has other
    family members with their own agenda regarding this turn of events.
    Motivation: Doing Good: Philip is determined to use the Dragon's powers to do good
    Reputation: Philip is an outsider in the magical community

    Philip grew up knowing that it was his brother Grant who would inherit the family kami and become a hero. His real
    interests lied in science anyway. While he was away at graduate school, his older brother was investigating some
    demonic activity in Phoenix Bay when the Armada came. Like the other heroes present, his brother fell to the
    Armada's forces.

    Instead of waiting for the next generation like was tradition, the kami came to Philip, in the form of a dragon.
    With his Sensei's training, he was able to master control of the dragon. He also found the Dragon's presence awakened
    other abilities inside of him with technology, making Philip able to work with technomagic.

    Originally thinking he would join Grant as s superhero using science and technology, now Philip was on a new
    path. He spent time travelling around the country, trying to avoid his father's control, until a street mage he
    helped out contacted him about helping some friends in Phoenix Bay. In Phoenix Bay, his new technomagic
    abilities were key in defeating Lord Steel's Iron Curtain and allowed the Champions to defeat the villain from the future.

    Philip encountered Lucienne Lightbringer who attempted to steal the Dragon, which he learned was Seiryu, the Azure Dragon.
    Rather than let the villain steal the Dragon, Philip forced it into cyberspace to protect him. His connection to the Dragon was
    changed forever, creating a strong connection to cyberspace and shifted his natural abilities to technomancy and digital magic.
