I canít wait for the Companion book myself. And maybe the Modern Age book too.

Just curious though, how much play testing is done on the rules written on these books. Does anybody know?

I'd me mostly interested in whether there are specialisations or options that allow the classes to break the mold in a limited fashion - getting a little magic for Rogues and Warriors, getting at least one Fighting Weapon group (if you don't happen to be a dwarf or orc) as mage. To allow for the hulking barbarian shaman with a naked chest and a big axe or the assassin who has a silence spell up her sleeve ...
There are. There's an Arcana Dabbler specialization and some other focused versions of various specializations that allow for certain crossover.

Yay! Sounds like what I was hoping for.

Now I'm kinda glad that the Titansgrave campaign we were running went on hiatus, as I wanted a Rogue-Mage and the Mage player wanted more of a Necromancer type.
