    After reading the IC thread (Which is very fun btw, good roleplaying all around!), and a brief discussion with Neo, I don't think Dylan would be a great fit here, so Here's a slightly revamped Quasar from the other game, should a slot open up:

    Complications:
    Motivations: Responsibility/Doing Good - Quasar is the protector of the Universe, and lives up to his title.
    Weaknesses: Magic, Darkforce, Psionic - The quantum bands energy manipulation has no effect on Magic, psionic, or Darkforce powers in most cases. This is especially true for his constructs, which are essentially nonexistant with regards to darkforce and psionic powers (Hence being a limit for that power instead of a complication). *Exception: Immunity to psionic mental effects*
    Geek: James is a huge Geek, and meeting characters he's been following his whole life can sometimes be distracting.
    Crush: James has a big crush on Supergirl
    NOTES:

    Advantage - Recover: This is from the Luck Power Profiles PDF, it's essentially free use of the Recover ability from Hero Points without using up a HP (Like Luck is a free use of the 'reroll/improve roll' HP ability). Quasar has a lot of varied abilities he can use, so instead of adding even more AP's to his cosmic array, or adding a variable structure, I wanted a way to make a couple Power Stunts (Or use Exceptional Effort).

    Benefit - Protector of the Universe: This is the standard "hey would the fact that I'm 'Keyword' give me any circumstantial bonuses or insight in this situation?"

    Senses: I chose to have the base 'radio, detect energy, cosmic awareness' powers outside the array b/c they're things he can always do, and then the 'enhanced' (extended) versions represent him devoting some of his attention/energy to it through the quantum computing powers of the bands.

    Cosmic Energy Array:
    Quantum Computer - The quantum band gems possess some capability for analyzing and processing information as if they were extremely advanced computers. This allows Quasar to navigate the Quantum Zone and the depths of space. The gems are able to detect, analyze, and track energy emissions across vast distances, as well as being able to detect, receive, and emit radio waves, allowing radio communication over stellar distances via a near-instantaneous quantum link.
    With the enhanced Extended, his radio/detect energy/cosmic awareness have range increments of 100,000 feet(~19 miles).
    Energy Construct: Yes, I do plan to use the attack and entrap usages of this power, b/c containment and dropping energy constructs on people are things Quasar does frequently.
    Energy Attack: I decided to just make a single ranged attack and use variable descriptor 2 to allow him to use it to thematically simulate energy blasts or constructed weapons. This way it's a single, 'predictable' attack so we both know what to expect regardless of how I'm thematically fighting.
    Siphon/Nullify: OK, these both have the broad 'energy' descriptor, so for clarity, Quasar is capable of manipulating essentially all types of cosmic/electromagnetic energy: Electricity, Gravity, Heat, Light, Magnetism, but not Magic, Psionic, Darkforce, or Kinetic, and these abilities only work on things that are fairly obviously 'energy' powers, not just 'everything is energy'.
    Examples - Human torch: Obviously heat energy. Hulk: Sure he's using a lot of 'energy' to have all that strength, but it's not an energy based power, so no dice. Silver surfer: Oh yeah, he's got nuttin BUT energy. Dr Strange: Definitely energy based, but Magic, so no luck.
    Energy Projection: This is supposed to be him making a big hand of energy to grab stuff. "Projection" means it's a real, physical thing that can be attacked/destroyed.
