  • Toughness and a Negative Constitution

What happens if a character, or adversary has a -1 or -2 in their stat, and no armor to pad the Toughness with an Armor Rating. My friend has my book, and have not had a chance to read it, but am preparing a campaign with the Quick Guide. Thank you in advance.

Toughness is never negative, so characters with a negative Con still have a Toughness of 0. For calculating the health of NPCs (in pulpy or cinematic mode), consider their Con as 1 if they have less than one.

That would make sense!~ It does even say in the QuickStart guide that PCs are 0 to 4 unlike other games where it is -2 to 4. Not to mention special rules exist in all ttRPGs. Like damage is always 1, even when it is 0 or lower.
      Thanks my dude! <3
