Ok Question for Game masters of FAGE , NPCs and Beasts from path finder are Stat intensive. Has anyone converted these from Pathfinder to FAGE and if so how did you do it without watering it down to much or taking away to much flavor from it..?

I haven't converted Pathfinder but I did convert a Conan D20 over to AGE, it was pretty straight forward. I found some Mystara D&D to Dragon Age and used this is a basis.

      Have you started converting already?

There was a discussion about this a while ago on these forums, if I remember correctly, so it may be worth looking back a few months. I've done some D&D (Eberron) and d20 Conan conversions but really got stuck on the monsters. As I recall I tried to go from the CR to some estimate of where it would fit in the AGE "hierarchy", then converted any special abilities that couldn't be represented by existing spells or focuses into custom monster stunts.

Thanks guys.. I havent started BUT my thing is some conversions have alot of stats, and Feats that i think are Really Cool. my thing is translating that to a AGE scheme. alot of Creatures and NPCs have special attacks and powers that arent necessarily included in Fantasy Age. Im trying to figure the stats conversions that go beyond the attributes in FAGE. I will read that post. any ideas on this let me know

You can add additional information as 'powers', a rogue for example has 'Pinpoint Attack' as a power.

For a monster example you can look at monsters that are converted from the Mystara, you can find these on the Fantasy AGE Users Wiki. Take the Beholder for example, on this page you find that under "powers" there are things like:
Anti-Magic Central Eye: All magical effects directly in front of the beholder cease. One target per round.
Hover: Beholder hovering cannot be dispelled.
Ray Attacks: Beholders can fire two rays at two separate targets with a Ranged Attack action. The Spellpower TN to resist a spell effect is TN 14.
And a table with the different "Ray-attacks".

You'll also notice that a lot of 'extra' things are stated in the description above it; Like how 'disarm' works against the beholder and a specific ruling about his rays and the 'lightning attack' stunt. Beyond the attributes - I think that's the best way to go about it.

Personally, I think it's better to take an existing AGE monster and alter it to fit the theme of the monster you're trying to convert over from another system. Jack had a Ronin Round Table a little while back on altering the stats of monsters, and a FAGE Beastiary is probably one of the next books Green Ronin will be publishing for the line.
