  • Kobold Press' Southlands for Fantasy AGE?

    Howdy All,

"Southlands: Adventures Beneath the Pitiless Sun".

My flgs happened to bring this in; I unwisely missed the Kickstarter. It's geared for Pathfinder, and unlike Midgard, there's no Dragon AGE / Fantasy AGE conversion built in.

Anyone seen the setting and thought about using it with Fantasy AGE? I'll admit, it's colorful, intriguing and not the usual pseudo-Europe or Tolkien affair.

I'm currently working on a Old West setting. When it's finished i'm thinking about Southland. That or a Feudal Age.

So why not use it? A lot of the content will stay the same.

Well, no reason not to, per se. I don't find conversion / adaption off-putting.

Having given the book a skim so far, it certainly seems like a fun setting. I think Fantasy AGE would be a nice match; stunts and such can make a nice match to the pulpish style of the setting, for one thing.

I suspect some folks are using Midgard; not sure if anyone's gotten into Southlands via Fantasy AGE yet.

So many settings ... so little time.
