    Original Post
Hi all! I thought I'd share my take on the ten races from the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim game, which can be found as two posts on my site. However, as I'm still quite new to the AGE system and its stunt mechanics so I'm sure some of the racial abilities might be a bit overpowered. They definitely are when compared to the core races.

Anyway, links to the posts are here:

First post* (Altmer, Argonian, Bosmer, Breton, and Dunmer)
Second post* (Imperial, Khajiit, Nord, Orsimer, and Redguard)

    Re: The AGE of Skyrim

i like these so far. i was considering an Elder Scrolls conversion myself but was unsure how to do some of the racial powers. i really like how they are Stunts and it provides a unique quality of gameplay. i look forward to more and maybe a full publication.

    Keep up the good work

      Re: The AGE of Skyrim

Great job, you really know how to balance you races. Some little points at first glance:

      1) Holy s**t, you may actually create a true Elderscroll Multiplayer game worth playing (tabletop, but still...)

      2) This NEEDS to be called AGE of Tamriel, so I dont feel bad playing the campaign from Morrowind

      3) I did not play Skyrim, but I did played the other TES games, so I do not know which weapon bonus Orsimers get, but I suggest to give them Focus: Bludgeon or Axe instead of Heavy blades. On the same idea, I would not give the choice between a weapon focus and a non weapon focus at character creation: 90% would choose a racial +2 to hit at lvl 1 over anything else. I'd switch this weapon focus with another focus from the benefits random list.

      4) I'm not sure Orsimers Rage skill as a ''specialization cost reduction'' Is a good idea: what would happen to an Orc rogue who chose Berserker as a spec (at level 4) hits level 6? I'd give a bonus to the ALL-OUT ATTACK action to simulate rage, or maybe a Stunt, I really dont know.

      5) What do you think of racial specialisations? D.A core rulebook add some, but FAGE did not. I'd like to see specs like: Nord Tongue (Thu'um user), Dunmer Ordinator Templar, Argonian Shadowscale, etc

This is one big project you got there, but I think you're on the path to something great.

        Re: The AGE of Skyrim

It has been a long while since last time I posted here and thought an update was in order.

First, I followed vincegetorix's suggestion and renamed it to the AGE of Tamriel.

Second, since the initial post I've put a good amount of work into AoT. Even went so far as to make a cover image and page background for it. You can see it's current state here ( http://demonwyld.blogspot.com/2016/0...eview-pdf.html ). The only parts of the entire document that I feel are "complete" are the Character Races and Starting Equipment sections, everything else is just a collection of my initial ideas written down and tweaked a bit.

And lastly, for the past few months I've been slowly drifting from Fantasy AGE and AoT. So for the moment, I've had AoT as a side project that I tinker with as the mood strikes me. I still plan to try and finish it all, but I do not want to completely burn out on Fantasy AGE while writing AoT.

          Re: The AGE of Skyrim

Whoaaa...its very complete for a ''Preview'' . I think you may have gone a little too far/complex with the whole dragonborn/thu'hum power words thing. Remember that most player wont be playing dragonborns, so a whole section dedicated to the the powers of 1 of 20 specializations may be a lot of work for you and makes one spec really more interesting than the others. The magic system is great and the races are just wonderful, I love the birthsigns as you made them. For the stongholds, I would not bother with a whole new system, just use the Organizations rules from DA. Anyway, keep the good work, this is a really impressive job.

Just a quick post to say that I've posted another AGE of Tamriel preview on my blog, and here: AGE of Tamriel - Classless Characters preview (PDF).

I've also edited the original post to include links to all the AoT related stuff I've done, mainly for those wanting to quickly see what's new.

Yeah, I did kinda go overboard with the dragonborn stuff. But as I said, these are just initial ideas that I wanted to get written down.

I also kinda forgot why I included strongholds. I think it might of been related to DA's organization rules, but I can't remember. Ah, well. Less stuff for me to write into AoT.
