    Kai Talents

    ANIMAL KINSHIP
    Classes: Kai Lord
    Requirement: Kai Training

Novice: You have the power to communicate with animals, using your Communication ability. The Gm should assign a difficulty based on the animals intelligence; intelligent animals such as birds, Noodnics or Karkami will be easier to converse with than aggressive animals such as bears or doom wolves. Only basic information maybe conveyed, however, despite the animal's intelligence.

Journeyman:You may actually converse with any animals you communicate with, rather than just basic communication. You are still limited by what the animal knows or is able to perceive, however.

Master: You receive respect from any animals that you come into contact with- none will attack you unless provoked. Further more, you no longer need to make communication rolls to converse with animals; you can understand them all perfectly. In addition you may use the Novice level of this talent on all supernatural creatures with beast-like qualities.

    CAMOUFLAGE
    Classes: Kai Lord
    Requirement: Kai Training

Novice: You may blend into your surroundings. When wearing an appropriate coloured clothing (your Kai green cloak in woodland etc) you may reroll any failed Dexterity (Stealth) test. You may also adopt any accent of any language you can speak, and can determine where the nearest safe shelter is. This requires a minute of meditation, and a successful TN 11 Willpower (Self Discipline) test.

Journeyman: If you successfully ambush a target from hiding, you may reroll any failed Accuracy or Fighting roll on the first round of combat.

Master: You may make a Dexterity (Stealth) test at -2 in order to hide in plain sight, even if observed.

    WEAPONSKILL
    Classes: Kai Lord
    Requirement: Kai Training

Novice: Choose one weapon group that you are trained in. When using weapons from that group, you may use the Lethal Blow stunt for 4 SP instead of 5.
