Re: Wonders of Thedas Episode 73: I Demand Satisfaction

An enjoyable episode, as ever. I do wonder if the element of 'calling out' single opponents, that features in the DA 2 computer game version, is something that could be usefully added to the Duelist specialisation. As a question for the next podcast, what do you think of the following house rule, which attempts to recreate the 'Throw the Gauntlet' talent from DA 2 (basically combining the result of a succesful Taunt stunt with a Threaten one)?

Duelist Grandmaster Level (taken by a PC who has completed the Duelist specialisation, in lieu of another specialisation talent at level 10, 14 or 18)

The duelist issues an irresistible challenge to a single foe. The enemy immediately abandons its other opponents to engage the rogue.

When successfuly using the Taunt stunt, your opponent must also attack you in some way (melee, missile, spell, etc.) on their next turn.
