  • Where did the word "laevvel" come from?

I introduced a friend to Blue Rose. She immediately fell in love with the setting. When I showed her the piece in the book laevvel, she fell in love with the setting even more. It got me wondering on the origin of the word or what inspirations were used to come up with the word. Does anyone have any insight?

    Cheers!

Aldeans collectively call this myriad spectrum beyond men and
women the laevvel bran’maur—“beyond the loom of Braniel
and Maurenna”—shorted to laevvel in common usage.

Aah, thank you! I'll have to look up what that old English word is because I'm even more curious now... unless someone else knows it off-hand?
