  • Telltale's Game of Thrones

I'm glad Episode 1 is out.

And they've done a great job.

    Sadly, not a PERFECT job.

    Holy crap, that ending!

Totally did NOT see that coming.

    Kudos, Telltale!

Even if the road leading up to it was railroaded as hell.

      Re: Telltale's Game of Thrones

The end of the episode caught me by surprise as well.

I liked the game, but not nearly as much as Tales From the Borderlands, because I didn't find the characters nearly as interesting. So far, the Forresters feel like watered down versions of the Starks, which is fine, but I'm hoping that as the game continues, they start to branch out a bit more. I'm really hoping Asher Forrester will be playable once he shows up, because the little hints this episode made him seem like the only really interesting one in the whole bunch.

I was surprised they managed to get all the characters from the television show who appear to be voiced by their respective actors. Natalie Dormer should be upset about her likeness, though; she's got a bit of monster face going on in the game. Also, the Telltale version of the show's opening credits sequence looked pretty awful. Otherwise, I did appreciate the sort of oil-painting textures that everything in the game had.

Certainly, we'd all like to have this given to Ramsay Bolton as a gift.

Ramsay Bolton is such a lovable scamp. I actually kind of like this version. He's like the Westeros version of the Joker.
