Well, Hal is still a massive jerk I see. The Aquaman outfit looks pretty decent, actually, but if it's the same team that did Justice League: War, I'm going to save myself some frustration and just pass. I so don't need to see another movie that is basically the Justice League by way of the Authority.

I just got through reading the TPB of this storyline. It was pretty good. The characters of Aquaman and Ocean Master in particular were very well done, showing that Aquaman really was trying to prevent a war between Atlantis and the surface world, and that Orm wasn't just a cackling madman bent on destruction. They were more nuanced than that.

Unfortunately both Superman and Wonder Woman still suffered from extreme Nu52ness and act like angry meatheads throughout most of the comic. Cyborg and Batman act like themselves.

Justice League: War was based on one of the thinnest excuses for a story arc that I had ever read in comics. Throne of Atlantis has a lot more goin for it, so even if it's the same animation team that is doing this one, they at least have better source material to work with. I'll check this out.
