    Design Notes: so here's a fun little project I plan to add entries into. I want to put together some starting PL10/150 pp characters. This is the first. Obviously he's inspired by Nite Owl and Dr Midnite. I just love the look of owls on a costume. All the hallmarks are there- martial arts, gadgets, detective work, etc... complications are up to the player. I would love to take this character out for a spin.

    • What's on My Mind? Maybe another house rule.

      Something that really bugs me about the core rule book is the way the minion advantage is drawn up. You have the summon power later on that turns multiple minions into an extra after a rather brief description of how minions work as an advantage that actually *doesn't* mention multiple minions. Then much later they stat up characters that use the multiple minions extra in their advantages. Then in the game master book you have this much cleaner system called force ranks which is essentially the multiple minion extra boiled down to a mass combat stat that streamlines minions completely.

      So... why not just incorporate force rank into minions? It looks cleaner and it takes advantage of a good system that really speeds up combat. I tried it with my Shredder. Check him out https://roninarmy.com/forum/atomic-t...res-more/page5
