      Vindicator Plaza

      The Vindicators Plaza
      The Vindicators are a group of meta human women, who have teamed up together to protect the city (Which I have yet to really flesh out yet. But I wanted to set down some parameters and get things off to a good start). The Vindicator's logo is a glowing red fist super imposing an upside down yellow triangle on a black circular patch. Some of the funding comes from Lady Dragonfly's resources, though they do get some backing from the city. It is not as substantial as Dragonfly's funds, however. And their are concessions and responsibilities for the support the city does provide.

      Vindicator plaza, is a 7 story office building that is built in the down town district. Surrounded by a small park , it creates a Idyllic setting, despite the kind of attention it can draw. The Park itself has a number of defensive capabilities, statues which hide energy blasters. and electrically charged zones through out the grounds which can stun groups of foes.

      Underneath the plaza lies a underground parking lot, storage facilities for cells, and the independent power supply system. As well as tunnels which lead away to an adjoining parking lot facility, where our hero's can return to their "normal" identities and leave without notice.

        Priscilla Connors is a brilliant scientist and inventor, as well as the leading R&D developer for Unicorn Technologies (which is ran by her father, Edgar Connors). She created and expanded on all current technologies, which led to the creation of vibrational weaponry, energetic Nanite technology, and Nano-weave circuitry (which can be imbedded into cloth).

        Unlike many of her co-workers , Priscilla is something of an eccentric person. Shy to a fault, however she has the business acumen to continue her fathers work. She worked very close with him in developing the circuitry and mechanisms necessary to create battle suits. However it was corporate espionage, that put her father in the hospital and her taking on the Armor to stop the High-Tech thief. And so Lady Dragonfly was born.

        Romantically speaking, Priscilla doesn’t have a love life. She could be attractive, if she put her mind to it. It would surprise many to learn , that Priscilla is more into women than she is into guys. But she is far to shy to initiate things, however her personality dramatically changes when she is “Lady Dragonfly. “ Her alter ego empowers her to do those things under anonymity , which she would be afraid to do otherwise. Most people think of her as that Nerdy girl who helps runs her father’s technology firm.

        It was her run in with other members of the famous meta human team, The Vindicators, a team of female meta humans a few years back. Which she has been a valuable part of ever since.

          Mistress Phyre (aka Nora Jones), is the third reincarnation of a powerful sorceress of the same name through out time. She has been a devout student and disciple of the Mysteries of an ancient being called the Phoenix. And this shows even today.

          Nora is the mystical expert for the team of the Vindicators. And is quite blatantly bi-sexual , but for her , race, gender, species has little meaning to her (but she does have her limits). She even has some Iranian heritage in her, which she often enjoys visiting her ancestors homeland. The mystical lore and energies about the land are quite staggering.

            Jenna Sweet is the popular girl at Mutant High, everyone likes her. She's smart, charming, and attractive. Who wouldn't want to hang out with her? And not only that she's outgoing, and extremely friendly, without being apart of any particular clique. In Mutant High, she's the leader for the cheer leading squad. Her code name is Mirage, and she has the power to create a wide variety of Illusions to a large area. She is also immune to social interactions, and can see through Visual Illusions. Jenna can see things in a way that no one can, which allows her to utilize a persons weaknesses for the benefit of her team. Jenna isn't much of a physical combatant, she has the normal training that everyone recieves that goes to mutant high. But she is more of a team supporter, using her powers to her team's advantage.

            Builders Notes:
            I wanted to do a "Mutant High" character. And it took me a very long time to come up with a concept I felt was unique. Granted the name is not very creative, but appropriate. For lack of a better term, and for now, I have named this super hero training school "Mutant High"

              Circe is a veritable social butterfly with the psionic ability to enhance her ability to manipulate people. Even to go so far as to Control anothers mind, or even alter it with her power. He real name is unknown, but it is very obvious she has never had to work a day in her life. She took her name after the famous greek enchantress. She has always had the ability to manipulate people even as a young child. And as an adult, there is little she wants or need. Between her business acumen, and her powers she has made the wealth and connections she would ever need. Her way of speaking is very distinct, and has a european accent, that much is certain. And her fighting style, is coupled with her use of the Baton. Giving her superior fighting skills. However she is mostly a behind the scenes kind of person, using minions to do what she wants. She may even have a few super powered invidividuals under her control. Triad, is a group of 3 powerful female villains, that use their powers and influence to get what they want, which Circe is the mind behind it all.

She has never let the fame or the wealth, she seems to have acquired for herself , get to her sense of modesty or duty. She turns around and uses most of it for charity cases around the world, where she cannot be.

Despite the nature, the school is actually funded by government, with generous support from others of the Meta Human community.                           My Notes:
                          I decided to do something a little different, and came up with a fantasy based character. Inspired by the Trailer for the new Demon Hunter class in Diablo III, which is pure awesomeness by the way. Lyrithia is a young woman who survived an assault by demons, which destroyed her happy little village. Surviving the attack, she became tainted , but was able to turn it around. Channel it, and use it to her benefit. Instead of turning into a raving, homicidal lunatic.

                          The Demon Tainted Power, makes the character count as a Demon instead of human if it comes down to a demon having protection against human attacks.

                            How is it that a slave of splugorth can escape? Perhaps something happened in her programming, that gave her the chance to break it? No one will know.. She met a magic user named Lorissa , whom she had been tracking for her masters. But in the insuing battle, she couldn't finish the job she had been sent for.. Instead in her confusion, the conflict of her weakened programming, and just something about the woman.. she allowed Lorissa to live.. But she knew she couldn't return without her, so she left her life, and has struggled to fit in normal society , even though everyone fears her or wants to kill her.

                            Myranda wants to reclaim her past.. to find out who she is, or was.. to fit the pieces of scattered memories she can barely hold on to.. In this journey, she has found love with Lorissa, so they travel together.

                              Ahhhh RIFTS- my first foray into the world of RPGs. Part of me still loves their crazy, uber-90s, gritty cyberpunk world. Nice work on the Escaped Slave character- I had a Splugorth Maxi-Killer Juicer character who was the classic "Evil Party Member" character in an ongoing E-Mail RPG for a good while- she would always go on rants about Splugorth superiority and annoy her teammates (she was only with them because she was 'ported through a Rift and wanted to get home to her masters).

                              Nice thread, too. I notice every character is some sort of uber-babe, and most of them have a variety of cool powers. It's like FemForce, but with less Giantesses!
