  • Damage Conditions and Regeneration

What exactly are the "damage conditions" mentioned in Regeneration's text? Just the Dazed/Staggered/Incapacitated from the Damage Resistance Checks?

    And the-1 Penalties, of course.

And it heals in reverse order of Healing. Healing removes incapacitated (or dying) first. Regeneration removes -1 bruise first.

So, if a character with Regeneration is hit in the eyes and is consequently Blind, he doesn't heal the condition, no matter how many ranks of Regen he has?

Correct, although they might use Regeneration (or Healing) as a Counter action against the Affliction, assuming appropriate Descriptors, etc.

Of course, Rule 0, the GM does what they wish, and are encouraged to do so.

            That definitely feels... weird.

Eh, the game generally works pretty firmly on the "you get what you pay for". It helps cut down on the "But I chose Laser as my descriptor, so I should get Penetrating for free..." arguments. In general, one doesn't just get maiming injuries in the system anyhow, unless it's a Complication, which would generally be something that, if you just regenerate the damage, then it goes away. Now someone could use Affliction resisted by Toughness to blind an opponent, but you're already doing auto-saves each round without having to have Healing or Regeneration, right? And spending a round to do the Counter action (as a descriptor of stopping and concentrating really hard on growing your eyeballs back) fits really nicely in the comic book genre.
