  • Are PDFs kept up to date with physical printings?

I picked up a print copy of the Deluxe Hero's Handbook a week or so from an online store. I liked it so much I decided to grab a few of the other books in PDF directly from greenronin.com, including a copy of the same Deluxe Hero's Handbook for convenience. However, I just noticed that my hardcopy printing has a 2013-2015 copyright on the front page, while the PDF I just downloaded still has just the 2013 copyright. I had assumed the PDF would be the same or perhaps even more recent than the hardcopy I have, so this seems odd. (One nice thing about DTRPG is that you can see when the PDF has been updated in the sidebar for each title.)

Bottom line... does GR keep the PDFs updated, and if so, how does one get access to revised content?

I believe we are keeping them up to date, and the shop emails out every time they're updated.

Wow .. that was a super fast response; thank you! I've confirmed, though, that my hardback has corrections/changes/edits not in the current PDF. I'll update the errata thread to bring it up to date with the changes in the hardback.

I've finished my submission to the errata thread reflecting those things that I've found updated in the hardback I got a few days ago from the PDF I downloaded today. I also tried to consolidate everything in that thread just for the sake of making it easier to track.

          I am investigating...

The newer version of the PDF should be uploaded later today/tomorrow. It takes up to 24 hours to propagate to DTRPG.

Fildrigar -- It's been a couple of days and the PDF still doesn't seem to have been updated. Any update?

                  Ahhhhhh! The suspense... the suspeeeeeeence!

(I'm sure customers with OCD such as myself are the bane of the publishing world.)

I'm sorry, it's crunch time right now at Chez Ronin. We're furiously trying to get a bunch of stuff done in time for Gen Con. It will get updated sometime soon, but I can't give you a more concrete answer right now.

Hate to resurrect a zombie thread, but it's been 6 months or so and the PDF still doesn't appear to have been updated. Any chance we can get the latest version?
