I concur with Eld: that is gorgeous, sir. Ursa is by far my favorite of the bunch. Everything about it is stunning: the design of the hybrid man-bear, the dynamic pose you have him in... You really out-did yourself here.

All made out of blue flames, of course.
I'm probably way off, but when I imagine Blue Knight, I think about the modern Blue Beetle--particularly in the area of their wings.

Here's the final illustration in this set, and I'll have to admit, the most difficult job I've done with such a limited color palette. May I introduce, Harry Percy, the Blue Knight.

That is...effin amazing. The armor is far more detailed than I expected, the wings look great, and the claymore with the cross hilt and the terminations, is just so cool!

Seriously, this is really, really great.

I'm glad you like it. My basic inspiration came from a suit of armor made for Waldemar VI, including the use of a Sallet helm and Bevor (neck/chin armor) as opposed to something more traditionally comic bookish, such as a Barbuta helm (like Magneto wears). After I settled on a basic model it was just a matter of exaggerating some elements for dramatic effect. I wrestled with the flaming effect for the armor until I got the inspiration to make the flames almost like etching on the armor itself (though I did end up adding a flaming effect around the borders later). I went 'modern-classic' for the claymore, sticking with the most recognizable blade and crossguard style, but with a wheel-pommel.

Over all I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Also, as far as BK's last post, he wasn't really saying the child soldiers can be ignored, just that he doesn't want to fight them if at all possible.

Thus his section to come down on the hospital from above and blast/cut/smash a way inside to find Bacon. If he's even in there-that might be a bit too easy.

My post for Kas wasn't meant as a criticism of anyone else's plan or actions, it was mostly just Kas trying to work out what he knows versus what he feels. Kas has a hero complex, but you can't save everyone. He knows this. The child soldiers are victims. He knows this. They might regret what they do, but they might have also come to enjoy it. He knows this. Conflict with them and even seriously injuring them might be unavoidable. He knows this.

What he feels is tormented by this knowledge and the additional knowledge that it may be impossible to save people he perceives as victims first and foremost. Being a hero is emotionally torturous because in many instances the resolution is messy and full of moral compromise.

Kas mostly just broods on the situations because so very rarely is it as simple as defeating the badguys and coming away with a clean win.

No, yeah, I get that. But his line "I'm not sure we should discount the child soldiers as a threat" makes it sound like the others were saying they should be discounted as a threat.

And I don't think anyone was saying that.

Taken out of context, Jack's statement could be misinterpreted that way.

Kas could just be giving a general warning to not understimate an underfed 12 year old. It happens in real world conflicts, even if said underfed 12 year old has an AK-47.

                        True, I guess.

I don't imagine Jack considers much of anything to be a threat though. And even if he did, I doubt he'd say so. Its a macho thing.

You're right, but I went ahead and qualified my statement...that Jack could have been misinterpreted that way.

Because there's no way I could have just been skimming through posts too quickly and missed pertinent information or dialogue. That would be sloppy. No way. It's all purposeful misinterpretation on my part, meant for character interaction.

Blue Knight looks more threatening than I expected. That's definitely badass.

Thanks again everyone for letting me interpret your PC's. It was a fun project. As T-man can attest, I've got a huge-mongous project I'm just starting over on DA...so until michuru starts sending me scripted pages for the New Vindicators Graphic Novel (joking)... I think it's time for me to leave the Oubliette alone.

                                Oh wait, secret vote? Nevermind ;}

More seriously, thanks for the artwork. It adds just that much more to my enjoyment of the game.
