    Sakuro,

On the last post concerning the flak-jacket, the last sentence was cut-off for some reason. It was the sentence inquiring about the ambush in the plaza. I added the sentence back just to let you know. If you looked at my post initially, the sentence was not there. I just wanted to let you know.

Sometime the forum does that to my posts. Then after reloading a couple times the fill thing is there. Thank you for letting me know Supernaturalist.

If you want to use explosives, that brings up the question: Do any of you have explosives as part of your personally owned kit of Equipment, or did your character get ahold of any prior to the subway station HQ being attacked? Alexandria has Frag Grenades, but those expel shrapnel. Not sure they could be used for breaching effectively. Though maybe they could be broken down and fashioned into something suitable by Peter and/or Levi.

A warning if you go with this approach. The plaza is already partially collapsed, and it's structural integrity is not 100%. A Technology or Expertise Engineering roll is going to be needed to shape the blast and keep both the shaft and plaza from collapsing more. I assume Peter would take lead on the roll. Other people may Aid with valid skills such as Technology, Expertise Solider, or Military.

      EDIT:
      Welcome back Evolucion.

Right now, Diego can't see any other way through except improvised explosives. If any other PCs have ideas I am game for them too. I imagine some expertises might be useful to figure out another way, but can't think of any Diego has that could work.

I would let one of you use a HP to find some sledge hammers or the like on the ground that the people were using as weapons. You could then beat down the wall. No rolls, outside of something by someone overseeing the affair to make sure you didn't destabilize things. It would take time though. I'd also allow those involved the option to have their character become Fatigued in return for 1 HP.

Both of these options are likely to draw attention. Explosions and repeated beating against a wall with tools are loud affairs. Feel free to try to come up with other approaches to the problem.

Hello folks, seems Hitori wasn't needed that much, which is good. Ill resume posting now, not sure how could Hitori intervene without spicing things up. He is terribly curious about the we thing, and not terribly trusty about the homicidal teen with a hatchet that can potentially split into several people.

Self duplicating homicidal hatchet girl? Pfft. Someone has been reading too much manga.

Hitori and Alex are both in the background. They could have their own discourse going on, if you think they are the type to talk behind Diego's back. Both seem "eh" about Ren.

You can have Hitori jump in with the chat with the girl. Sakuro did mention, assuming she was schooled in Hadron City, that she might have learned martial combat moves from a curriculum Hitori helped design. That could be a good entry point. The we is Diego's next follow up question unless someone asks about it first

Alternative approach: use improvised materials to poke a few holes - providing enough damage under Peter's targeted use of structural analysis to create a localized collapse - and hopefully without the same noise of sledgehammers or explosives.

How do you intend to make the physical labor quieter? I can see targeted damage in key areas being potentially faster than indiscriminate hammering, but not quieter. Maybe I am looking at it differently than you.

Well, possibly breaking a few holes in the sub-par parts of the wall along the load transfer path would be quieter - depending on what was used, but I suppose the collapse would still have some noise to it. It's like using rebar to poke and thrust rather than bludgeoning.

I cant think of any way of bringing down a wall quietly. Perhaps place the corpses on the floor to dampen the noise of falling bricks and chunks of concrete. But the pounding would still be noisy.

Maybe a perception check to see if there is any latches for a quiet entrance? That's only thing I can think of.

Peter already did a look around to see if there was a hidden door, or similar affair MrDent.

Noise is going to be an issue to some degree even with this method you are describing Enigmatic One. It will allow you to go faster than straight up wailing on the wall, though the DC will also be increased because you are trying to be precise and fast. Peter can lead the roll with Expertise Engineering and anyone applying the muscle portion, such as Hitori with his mallet, may use Athletics to Aid Peter's roll.
