Chris didn't bother with a retort. This guy was just going down. "Take out his fuel. He'll have nothing."

"Thats not how, nevermind split up so he can't hit both of us" Powerfist almost answered without thinking.

Almost without thinking Powerfist vanished reappearing behind Blowtorch bringing down her crackling oversized fists with bone shattering force.

Chris dodged to the right just as Powerfist disappeared. His ally reappeared just as the bolt of lightning reached its target.

            Shock and Powerfist

The lightning bolt snaps out and strikes Blowtorch right in the chest but the padded and insulated suit seems to take the brunt of the attack and hes unharmed. However just as he looks at Shock Powerfist appears behind him and punches him right between the shoulder blades her fists crackling with a blue white energy which ripples through the pyromaniac causing him to yelp in pain and leaving him a little shaken.

Still though hes got enough faculties to turn on her and snarl a predatory grin as he laughs maniacally. "Oh yeah you're gonna burn nicely!"

He raises a his right arm and from a jet on his wrist spews a blast of Napalm jelly at point blank range that splashes onto Susan where it begins to burn immediately on contact with the air but worse the jelly sticks to her causing her protective field to glow brightly and warning indicators to blare in her ears.

Shock goes first due to the higher agility so well resolve his action.

            Shock 17 (higher initiative)
            Powerfist 17
            Blowtorch 10

Shocks lightning bolt slams right into Blowtorch his toughness save _: 1D20+10 = [18]+10 = 28
            yeah he tanks the lightning

How does he fair against the agony matrix? 30 barely takes most of it only a bruise x1

            His fort save _: 1D20+7 = [18]+7 = 25
            leaves him dazed

His action will be to sue his napalm strike on Powerfist _: 1D20+10 = [9]+10 = 19
if that hits its a DC 21 with a secondary effect

And back to Shock when ready sire barring Powerfists toughness save

ps hero points to both of you because

              Powerfist

Powerfist watched as sensors relayed the information the shields were coping well with heat only problem was the the multiple layers of shield was current containing the napalm around her.

A minor flaw to corrected later, for now she focused on the pyromaniac. Diverting power to her optical camoflage she once again vanished only to sidestep while cloaked throwing another massive punch this time to the midsection.

Activating Optical and Audio Distortion: Concealment 6 (all audio and visual senses)

              Agony matrix again aoa 5, pa5: 1D20+8 = [18]+8 = 26
Thats a crit so DC 32 will and DC37 toughness

              Powerfist also has Follow up attack so aoa 5, pa5: 1D20+8 = [7]+8 = 15
If that hits due invisabilty DC27 will and DC 32 toughness

              Followed by final toughness for secondary effect _: 1D20+12 = [8]+12 = 20
              so bruised

As her hand enters his, Tony transforms and launches off the ground in a rush of flames. He curls her into his form, pulling her tight. The smile that crosses his face is genuine. He is flying and he is carrying an object of his desire. With a glee that is almost mindless, the young dragon soars across the city sky, relishing in his feelings of satisfaction.

Too soon, Chinatown and the Barbeque are there. With great reverence, Tony lands and sets Lexa down, "They have whatever you want...spicy or sweet. Even both..." Tony walks in and waves at the man behind the counter. Smiling, he directs Lexa to a table near the back. As he does, he orders in rapid fire Cantonese. Sitting down, Tony looks at Lexa an his smile falters slightly, "Things...things have been weird lately...I...I am hoarding things. Taking things from my battles and building a hoard..."

Taking a deep breath, "The Dragon...he is getting stronger...I think..."

                  Shock and Powerfist

As Shocks lining up Blowtorch for a finishing strike he notices Powerfist vanish from sight. For a second he has to wonder if hes been left to fend for himself. but any doubts are quickly put tor est as She reappears behind Blowtorch and lays into him with her self named weapons. Several powerful blows later each of which impacts hard and is followed up by a surge of purplish energy that lights Blowtorch up like a cartoon X-ray causes the pyromaniac villain to stagger around for a moment before finally collapsing like a boneless sack of meat.

Its at that moment that a high pitched whine and beeping catches both heroes attention. Its coming from the large chest on the ground which when opened reveals a high tech device that has two tubes of blue and green liquid which Powerfist recognizes as the plasma mix, surrounding the inner coil device that creates the magnetic containment field. A red LED timer counts down to its impending Armageddon which Powerfist knows given the size of this device--bigger then any she ever made-- will encompass the mall and most likely half a block in every direction in pure star fire.

Yeah those are some nasty hits, I did some prelim rolls just for sake of argument and he failed them one after another.

So he drops like a bad habit

Now 2 final aided tech checks at DC 30 will suffice to keep you and the mall from being consumed in plasma fire and were golden

Shocks powers can aid in any number of ways

                  Good luck heroes

Lexa wraps her arms around Tonys Neck as shes flown through the sky cheering gleefully as the pair soar across Bay Cities skyscape, to the rapid fire beat of Tonys powerful draconic wings until they arrive at the Restaurant to the shocked gazes of multiple passers by.

Lexa has more surprises up her petite sleeves as the lunch date continues. First off she eats like a horse ordering more food then Tony ever thought someone like her could eat and then proceeding to consume it all as if it were nothing more then a light snack.

She listens intently as Tony explains his problems and concerns her eyes seemingly backlit by flame as if someone had lit a bonfire behind panes of emerald glass.

"You're growing up, we mature at a much slower rate physically and emotionally then humans do." she adds in "Maybe that's why mother doesn't want me to see you, she thinks I'm too young and thinks you're too young." she chuckles with a hint of irony.

"Sometime soon you'll need to embrace one of those sides of you or find a way to balance them within." she pauses a serious look on her face "If you cant, well..." she doesn't finish but the implication she leaves hanging is almost palpable.

"Tony, can you tell me which parent is.. you know...rawr!" she playfully roars the last bit while making an all together too real dragon impression complete with clawed hands, which comes off almost comical from where Tonys sitting.

Chris smiled as Blowtorch crumpled. "At least he's holding true to form." His smile faded when he saw the device. "That's what I think it is, isn't it?"

Chris moved over closer but made sure not to touch anything. There wasn't enough time left to effect the necessary evacuation so there was no point in wasting time talking to the police. "You're the lead on this. What can I do to help? I can put out enough juice to maintain the containment field even if you cut power to the rest of the device."

"Don't worry about if it comes to it, i'll teleport it into the ocean. Small zap here, and here, and here" Powerfist answered without looking up, in truth she hadn't given a thought to failure. She briefly considered if she was prepared to do take risk, if the need arose. She dismissed the thought she'd built more complicated and more destructive weapons in the past, focus on the device.

                        Tech_: 1D20+18 = [9]+18 = 27
                        1D20+18 = [20]+18 = 38

                        hp reroll that first tech check _: 1D20+18 = [4]+18 = 22

                                Shock and Powerfist

The bomb is easily deactivated as Susan already understood its fundamentals well enough she was even able to bypass some of Blowtorches add-ons which while clever weren't up to her standards. But now she had a dual problem Shock wasn't one to back down as a police investigator, and he had back up a lot closer then she did. Back up she could hear making an entrance into the mall via her comms.

They would need to wrap this up soon.
