    "STOP FLYING AROUND!!" Occulon whines as he continues to ineffectually try and blast Hornet only to receive a razzberry in return and a hornet sting which makes him yelp and dive to the floor.

    "Fine try dodging this!!" he yell as his eyes glow bright then let fly with a pair of beams which snake out at hornet who easily dodges them only to have them turn around changing direction in midair and come after him again.



    Occulon will use his homing beam on Hornet 18 pretty sure that misses but it still has 2 tries DC 22 if it hits

      Skylark peeps up from behind cover: The powerhouse and dragon both come under heavy fire and the Viper agents have by some miracle survived like seven million amperes of lightning. With the battle in the balance just one heavy can swing the result either way. She has to get rid of that Steel Serpent fast before it can kill her or one of the newcomers.

      Or worse, before they can kill it first. She's not gonna look lame in front of a group of heroes!

      "Fine," says Skylark as her feather blades clatter harmlessly off the Steel Serpent. "I'm taking out the can opener just for you, snake. You oughtta feel proud!"

      The teenaged heroine leaps out from behind cover holding the six-inch long handle of her sonic blade. She brandishes it, and what looks like a massively oversized razor blade snaps out of the handle and starts vibrating at 18,000 Hz, so fast it's just a blur and the scream of the weapon fills the room. "Hope you have your best undies on!" she taunts, and then starts cutting the power suit right off the hapless Viper freak driving it. Let's see how cocky this guy is without a quarter ton of armor between him and her, Skylark thinks.

      Standard action: use Sonic Blade (Damage 7 linked to Drain Toughness 7) on Steel Serpent's powersuit

      So what I'm trying to do is cut his Device off him. As a worn item the power suit should have the wearer's defense, and it should get no save against the Drain Toughness component of the blade.
      I am assuming the power attack only increases the main Damage component of the power. This is how kenseido ruled it in SA Avengers.

      Attack roll vs Steel Serpent powersuit (Power ttack 5) (1d20+13-5=16) If this misses, I'll reroll.
      Reroll Attack roll vs Steel Serpent powersuit (Power attack 5) (1d20+13-5=13) HP makes that 23
      -9 Toughness then DC 27 Toughness check for the Device

        The Sonic blade humms like a an angry wasp in your hand as you slash away at the armored villain. The Steel Serpent stands there dazzled by the speed of your attack as there is the sound of metal hitting metal, and sparks from the Armor. For a few seconds it looks like no damage was done and the steel serpent turns on the spot and points its arm cannons at the young heroine. The smile on his face though is wiped out much like Armadillos was moments ago as the armor suddenly falls apart and the agent is left standing there in the under armor jumpsuit.

        looking in stunned astonishment at the pieces of his armor as they lie about the floor he looks at Skylark and the last thing he sees is Skylarks fist heading at his face where it connects with a wince inducing CRACK!! that levels the poor schmuck and leaves his dentist a very happy man.




        Nope that hits no need for the HP barely hits though

        Ok Im a little different from Ken. Devices--specifically armor--do get a standard fort save of their wearers rank to protect them

        But Power attack works on both components

        Steel Serpents fort save 16 a fail by 3 and hes -3 to all saves till repaired

        Steel serpents toughness save 9 =O_O= wow epic fail hes done

          Everyone

          The last Agent holding tight to the handles of the Brickbuster takes careful aim at Shock unaware of the power build up in the Weapons magazine caused by Shocks attack. He pulls the trigger and the cannon barks again but Shock is easily able to avoid the blasts which blow large holes in the walls of the building.


          Ok how this works

          Viper agent fires at Shock 10 he misses horribly

          Now the tricky part on a 1-10 the magazine goes boom 12 nope weapons is still viable but each shot has an escalating chance of going boom

          this is not necessarily a good thing

          Back to the top of the order

            HP 2 Cnd: Dragon SMASH!

            Belicose's quick movements and daring attack were amazing...to everyone but the dragon he was facing, "You ain't no St. George!" Tony growls as he simply swats away the flying side kick with a braced forearm. "My turn PUNK!" With that, Dragonfyre hauls back and simple drives a piledriver right at Belicose's ugly mug.
            AoA PA at Belicose's Ugly MUG! DC30 Piledriver (1d20+9=17)...Know what?, reroll, gonna drive him into the ground if possible:AoA PA Pile Driver DC30 Reroll (1d20+9=29)...wow, that surely does it, DC35: DRAGON SMASH!

              Belicose flips off of Tony's raised forearm and makes to attack low. Only to have Tony viciously drive him into the ground and through it like a railroad spike. The impact is so vicious that a burst of flame explodes from the hole which leads down into the buildings basement and keeps going crashing through another floor before finally cratering the much thicker floor of the buildings subbasement.


              That's a big hit his toughness save 23 IS a major fail by 12 hes staggered and stunned and -2 to toughness saves

              Major ouch and hes driven down through the basement into the subbasement

              that effectively ends belicoses turn and we go to enxt

                Chris didn't even have to dodge the shot from the Brickbuster but the fact that it was still firing was a problem. He jumped forward again and sent a blast of lightning at the gunner.

                I'll take 10 on an attack at the VIPER agent for a 19 total. That's a Toughness DC26.

                  The lighting bolt snaps out and causes the gunner to jerk backwards yanking the Brickbuster skywards holing the ceiling in several places as it does. The agent twitches for a few moments before collapsing unconscious.

                  "Ah crap hes down we gotta get out of here!: Occulon yells as his eye beams continue to race after Hornets tiny darting form.


                  Hits and he couldn't beat that in his wildest dreams so hes out.

                        "Like those energy beams you're tossing out wouldn't Peeps?" Hornet answered back as avoided Occulon's eye beams only for them to suddenly veer off at a 90 degree angle to the left then repeat the sharp alteration to their path so they were coming back towards him.

                        Hoping that if he could take out Occulon, his energy beams would disappear, Hornet lined up a shot as his gauntlets built up a stronger than usual charge and let it fly for the Viper super agent.

                          ZOTTT!! The amped up Hornet sting is spot on target and hits with a louder then usual sound. Occulon shakes it off though and ramps up the intensity of the glow on his eyes which casues the eye beams to speed up in their pursuit of Hornet.



                          Yep that hits Occulons toughness save 25 Zap ouch fail by 3 he takes a bruisedx1
