      One of the worst things in the world, is to be a child of a Crime Leaguer. Aside from all the usual one parent issues, Mitchell Walker knew that his dad Sucked, capital emphasis. A guy who was not only too free-wheeling to care, but was so enmeshed with a dangerous yet repeatedly defeated group of villains. It really gets to a youth, you know?

      At some point, Mitchell forgot when, the idea came into his head. What would be the best way to get some kind of attention from his dad? Become a hero and pay him back and his pals for all those sad frustrated nights. And given the time and thought, he actually cobbled together worthwhile equipment and trained in the martial arts, using the Commedia del Arte 'Harlequin' style as a subtle mockery of Wildcard's costume and antics.

      It certainly has PO'ed Big Al of the Mob, since Harlequin has been building his rep by crushing mob activities, and his recent thwarting of a Rant and Rave robbery humiliated them as he went rings around them before finishing them off. But, they need to learn to laugh it off, right?

        -Shared body: Having an Anicent Alien Entity sharing your body isn't always a great thing. Disagreements can sometimes be very inconvenient especialy when both of you get stubborn.

        -Relationship: (Midnights Fire) His Girlfriend Aurora is more then just a pretty face, She's also a Warsahde, this alone leads to all sorts of fun. Also though Syphara remains quiet on the subject James is certain that the old kheldian still harbors feelings for Na'Tana his former wife.

        -Heroic Responsibility: Syphara is always filling his head with responsibility, Honor, and duty for all sentient species. Fortunately James listens... Most of the time.

        Stars Fire is the almagation of 2 very different beings, not just a Human and a Kheldian. but of 2 very different individuals. James Cannon a wiley smart alec, and troublemaking kid with a heart of gold. and Syphara a wise and knowlegeable Kheldian Peacebringer some 5000 years old. They met when Syphara was tracking a rogue nictus through Freedom City and was ambushed by a Shadow hit force. As fate would have it James saw the fight, and with out thinking distracted the soldiers long enough for a badly wounded Syphara to strike them down, though James was mortally wounded in the action. Seeing that both he and James's lives were ebbing away Syphara offered to merge. James accepted immediately, not really thinking it through as was his impulsive nature.

        While they drive each other nuts at times though, the two care very deeply for each other, and each would go to the ends of the universe for the other. Also of note is that James has fallen in love with the beautiful Aurora Reza aka Midnights Fire. Aurora is a Warshade, as if this were not complicated enough the Kheldian inside Aurora is Na'Tana; Sypharas wife before the Kheldian civil war.

        The fact that the two are back together now after so long has caused long buried feelings to resurface in both aliens and lead to some interesting dynamics between the 4 of them

        Now they are one; James learning from Syphara's wisdom and patience, and Syphara benefiting from James wileyness and youthful enthusiasm. Separate but equal, speaking with one voice and driven by 2 hearts. together they are Stars Fire.

        Personality: James Cannon is very much a classic neer do well, riding his motorcycle, Playing music for a living and generally drifting along on the winds of life. At least he was until the ""Cranky Old man"" as he refers to Syphara took up residence in his head/soul/body. Now he has a near constant jiminy Cricket chirping in his head driving him to heroic deeds inspite of himself.

        Thats said though it doesnt take much prodding as Syphara has found out that James is a genuine Hero beneath all the kickback attitude and attempts to appear like he defies authority. James will always put innocents ahead of himself and is a genuine caring individual though Syphara wont admit it outright a trully worthy individual who could easilly have been chosen as a Starknight by Mentor.

        Syphara (voice of Liam Neeson) is gruff and sometimes stern voice of wisdom and responsibility in James head. He's been around the block a time or 5 and has a great deal of wisdom. hes open minded enough to accept the warshades at their word, but cynical enough to keep an eye on them in case their new found redemption wavers. Syphara is defiantely the more ruthless of the pair and many Nictus have learned to fear his name and any host he occupies.

        Powers and tactics: Stars Fire is a Kheldian Peacebringer a powerful combination of an alien energy being (kheldian) and a host (james). This merging gives access to several abilities which includes an expanded knowledge base and memory thanks to Sypharas centuries of experience.

        This also gives them the ability to assume multiple separate and distinct forms. His Radiant form where he powers up the Kheldian energy and takes on what can be called Superhero mode. Then his Bright Nova form which is for all intents and purposes a light weight, lethal Apache Gunship, lastly is the White Dwarf form which is a Beast of a tank.

        Each form has its strengths and weaknesses and is a perfectly capable combatant. The radiant form is his most versatile combining ranged attacks with decent defences and the abilty to punch pretty hard. A basic all around mini-Paragon. this is the form he'll use the most.

        the Dwarf form is a walking tank heavy, thumping and plodding, but tough as any powerhouse and nearly as strong. It doesnt have any ranged attacks--Save when it throws a car or something similar LOL-- but its primarily a melee machine anyways. It uses a teleport and interpose to protect his teamates regularly.

        Bright Nova has a powerful ranged attack and is quick and nimble but it is a glass cannon relying on speed and maneuverability to dish out tremendous firepower. With moving feint and move by action it can unleash a virtual storm of firepower. it should also be noted that the novas flight is always on so if rendered unconcious the nova form will float there drifting on the breeze until he wakes up.

        In all forms he is vulnerable to a specific wavelength of quantum energy that can disrupt the connection between Sypharra the Kheldian hes bonded with and Himself. this causes great pain and can be lethal if he takes too many shots.

          Sally Salvage

          Origin: Sally Salvage is a new hero, quite literally. Extremely recently (may not have even happened yet), during a super battle at a research facility, things went very wrong. Lives were lost and Projects to make for a better future were destroyed. However, like many other situations, this one has a silver lining. A new hero for the people of Freedom City has emerged, Sally Salvage. No one (including herself) is aware of her exact origin. Clues don't seem to lead much of anywhere, there were nanite (and even stranger) experiments going on, there were also several personnel that died with the first name of Sally (or Sal). What is known is that she so far has exhibited an insatiable curiosity and an innocent and infectious love for humanity.

          As far as materials involved, I see her as somewhere between Junkpile and Dr. Metropolis. She's just as likely to be made up of car parts, junkfood wrappers and a doll's head as she is of concrete and rebar. The 'sum of her parts' is a manifestation of that, maybe 'accidently' she picks up a rear view mirror that she could use to blind someone, or a vacuum clear, or.. some other bizarre cast off item that she could find some use for.
          Well at first I was thinking along the lines of Dr. Metropolis, with urban materials being things like concrete, asphalt, glass, bricks, aluminum siding and whatnot, but now that you've explained a bit more I see where you were coming from. Why don't we call it Urban Waste and deal with it on a case by case basis as might comes up in game? I think once we've went over it a couple times in play things will become more clear for both of us.

          I haven't quite decided whether she was a scientist when she was 'alive'. She very well could have been. She could also have been a nanite hive or a strange project to replicate some of the other elementals. Or maybe she is alien? Or a spirit? She doesn't know. The Watchdog groups don't know either- and it makes them worried.

          Some of the other 'elementals' have started to take notice of her. What does she mean to Assembly or to Junkpile? For now at least, Dr Metropolis sees her as a younger sibling and for many folks, that might just be enough to give her the benefit of the doubt.
          Ok, that's fine. I'm good with a bit of character mystery that can be explored as the game goes on.

          'Hermit Crab': Under the layers of refuse, there is a strange gray ooze that shows signs of nanite and DNA activity. Unfortunately, this inner layer is extremely vulnerable to damage and is overall extremely weak.

          Fame: Something about her draws attention, it might be that she's outgoing, it might be because most of the time she looks like a toy from the late 20th century.

          Made of Junk: Sally is quite literally made of the refuse of human civilization. Her powers are directly influenced by what she is made of at any time. Also, when she heals, she doesn't have much control over what she uses to repair herself- causing accidental destruction to the environment around her.

          Motivation- Acceptance: Even though she's a big piece of junk, Sally wants to be accepted.

          Power Loss: Sally is affected by descriptors related to technology and metal as well as those that affect living beings. Depending on what she currently has inside of her, she may be ferrous or vulnerable to other material limited effects.

          Watched: Because Sally's origins are not known, several organizations have taken an interest in finding out what she is and whether she is a Threat. For not its trust but verify, but may become more active.

          Wide Eyes of a Child: Sally is still learning about the world around her but in personal and through being a constant media junkie. She can become distracted if some fascinating new piece of information becomes available.

            Rivalry/Enemy : Dr. Otaku - Thomas has decided to faithfully oppose Dr. Otaku. There's no (real) animosity at work here.
            He recognizes that Solo Takashi is really just a frustrated 12 year old nerd who can't get a real girl to even look at him, so he's built
            three of them that will fawn over him. At the same time, if Otaku keeps down this path, he's going to cross the line and do
            something he can't take back. Like Daedelus, Thomas desperately doesn't want that happen. But time is running out....
            Power Loss: Otakumon uses artwork as a focus for his Anime Jutsu array. He must either draw an image on the spot or use
            a previously rendered image. He can also use sculpted works.
            Relationship: Eva (Vindicator) McKenna. During the adventure that took both the Freedom League and FORCE Ops to a parallel world, Thomas met Eva McKenna, the heroine known as Vindicator. While he couldn't match her scientific expertise, he was on more equal footing with their shared love of comics and anime. He was blown away at how easily he could just talk to her, and they quickly became inseparable. Now that they are back home & FORCE Ops has moved to Emerald City, Thomas and Eva are adjusting to their newly long distance realtionship.

                            In my experience "stealth check for everyone" is really just a competition to see who fails by the most. Because with any group over about 3, someone is going to fail, especially when at least half aren't built with stealth in mind.
