  • Thread Prefixes: Question

Hey, would it be helpful to have [1e], [2e], and [3e] (and maybe [DC]?) thread prefixes available in here? They show up next to the subject line, if I recall correctly, and you select the one you want (or leave it unselected). Not that it's hard to type in your own prefix, but they are an option in this system.

I would vote yes. Would they show up like the ? and Thumbs Up symbols that are options?

That would be really cool. 2e and 3e definitely. Is it possible to have a second prefix for ic/ooc?

Depending on how many prefixes you can set up, it might be easiest to go 2e IC, 2e OOC, 3e IC, 3e OOC.

Ooh, I think robertness has it right. Those four would be best.

That would save a lot of space in post titles. Definitely a yes, even better if robertness's idea could work.

And if you can't have spaces in the prefix, 2eIC, 2eOOC, 3eIC, 3eOOC would be reasonably legible.

I like the idea of standard prefixes. It would make threads easier to distinguish from one another.
