    Thread Count !

    So this is the thread to keep track of games, find links quickly and with the least fuss/ muss.
    This is a colloborative effort that we, as players and GMs on these forums, can maintain together.

    To view the games list go to the last page of the thread. View the table that is closest to the latest post.
    The legend is as follows:

    I = Interest
    R = Recruiting,
    O = Ongoing,
    H = Hiatus,
    ? = Fading,
    D = Done

    Links are posted to the IC and OOC threads of a game.

    To Update the games list:

    (More tech-savvy posters are welcome to modify this as needed.)
    There are two methods – if you are not at ease to update the table simply provide links to the thread(s) in question.

    For display text when posting a link use IC or OOC. Ex: (url=www.roninarmy.com)OOC(/url) (use square brackets in place of round)
    Alternately, simply post the raw link with no formatting

    For those more comfortable to update the table:

    1. Quote the last version of the table
    2. Remove the "quote" verbiage and any excess/ unneeded verbiage
    3. Update the table, in most cases as if it were a Word Document
    4. Bold or italicise whatever lines you have updated
    5. Remove bold or italics from the previous post
    6. Submit the post anew !

    Re: Thread count: an Experiment

    I started a game index thread post a while back, but ran out of time to keep it up.

      nice work

      a couple small corrections just for accuracy

      HU is in 2nd edition

      its GR that's will be in 3rd

      Tmans game is actually Force Ops. the world fo shadow is a crossover event though I grant you that might be nit picking a little

      excellent work
      Dr. Silverback has wryly observed that this is like trying to teach lolcats about Shakespeare

        Re: Thread count: an Experiment

        Thanks.

        Updated. Several remaining issues:
        1. Tables are difficult to work with on the new boards
        2. Need to find a way for links to stay when they change with the thread name being changed.
        3. Need to find a good way to format from Excel to board style.

            Easy; the only thing you need to link to a thread is the number. For this thread, for example, http://roninarmy.com/threads/1161-Some-random-words or even simply http://roninarmy.com/threads/1161 are as valid links as http://roninarmy.com/threads/1161-Th...-an-Experiment.

                    I'm the GM for New Vindicators, not Yeoman. Yeoman could probably do a MUCH better job...

                      That is a spiffy table.

                      Any chance for a column dedicated to a recruitment flag?

                        Sure, I should be able to do that and update when I get home.

                        It would help if people would let me know when recruitment starts and ends.

                            As usual, please (politely) let me know if I'm missing anything.

                            This is kinda fun.
