  • Looking for hrlp on a power...

    So, I want to take Teleport and give it the ATTACK Edge and then make it so it is not ranged but works as a defense when someone punches the character. Also, it would not affect someone with Teleport of their own.

    So Character is standing ready for a fight and a speedster zips up to hit the character. I want the Teleport to trigger sending the speedster 50 feet in the direction he moved into melee with the character.

    How do I simulate this?

    This would be applying Attack and Reaction to the Teleport. So they come up and tried to punch you, then it triggers and they have to make a Reflex save to avoid being teleported. I think that a -1 Flaw for Limited: Only in the direction they were going, for the distance they've traveled is reasonable.

    Teleport: Teleport Attack 4 (500 feet in a move action, carrying 50 lbs., DC 14; Attack: Dodge, Reaction 3: reaction; Limited: Only teleports target in the direction they were moving last, and for the distance they traveled.) [4 pp/rank * 4 = 16 pp]
