  • A question or two RE: "Time of the Apes" (3rd Ed. adventure)

Prepping to run the adventure, not sure if I missed it - BUT: is the "Pyramid Plaza" map representing three buildings OR three floors of one building?

Also if anyone has ANY tips on playing the "Thieves' Guild" villains, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I actually originally had a larger post, but the system deleted it when I tried to edit it.

As regards the Thieve's Guild, the key is to exaggerate their personalities. They are essentially The Flash's Rogue's Gallery, a group of twisted geniuses who would probably be frighteningly competent if they weren't so obsessed with their gimmicks. Also, they're largely dirty cowards who will flee when the tide of battle turns against them. That said, while they probably stab each other in the back frequently, they have worked together for a long time, so they will employ teamwork (the Time of Crisis adventure where they debuted suggested things like the oil bolos catching fire, or the napalm pies being ignitable as well as a few other ideas on how they could double-team a hero).

For El Bolo, go on youtube and look up Eddie Guerrero bits from the WWE. Liberally steal from that.
