Re: (OOC) - The Price of Power

    Westerlands!

I see only benefits for this. It will place us in the center of the action and while Tywin will initially run a tight ship, and could also be a good base for us to start with, it should become a lot more fast and loose after Cersei takes over. To this it also allowes us to play pretty much any type fo character, be they a Gregor or Amory type of the Crakehall or Marbrand style. As well as given the Lannister situation it could provided us with all manner of oppertunities to act across Westeros.

I'll vote for Crownlands, since I never played a campaign there.

      Time period seems cool!

Theorically we could also play in Dragonstone or the Iron Islands.

Riverlands see a lot of action during the books but I have already played there. I would love to play in the North or the Crownlands.

sounds like crownlands get a lot of love, but it does limited us on strength and does anybody want to be that close to Cersei

Re: (OOC) - The Price of Power

Oops, looks like we're going for the Crownlands!

So here are the House's initial abilities defined by the region:

              DEFENSE: 5
              INFLUENCE: -5
              LANDS: -5
              LAW: 20
              POPULATION: 5
              POWER: -5
              WEALTH: -5

I rolled a dice to decide the House's age and I got a 4 (1d6), so the House is ESTABLISHED, probably created during the Conquest, but it's up for you guys to decide.

I rolled another dice to see how many Historical Events you guys had and I got a 5 (1d6-1), so that puts us on an interesting situation: each one of you can make one roll of 3d6 to define 1 Historical Event for the House.

Use this website for the rolls http://www.coyotecode.net/roll/ and paste the link here so everybody can see.

              NOW GO MY LITTLE BIRDIES

                Here's my roll.

                _: 3D6 = [6, 5, 2] = 13

13, that's a Favor - good one Gives us +1D in Infuence, Lands, Law and Power.

Nice! Now please roll those 3d6 and let's see how much this Favor of yours helped the House!

                    Ay, ay Captain!

                    Favor rolls: 1D6 = [2] = 2
                    1D6 = [4] = 4
                    1D6 = [4] = 4

                    Ain't that bad!

As for the region I'd like us to be located on Driftmark but it is entirely possible that the Velaryons are still with Stannis. Especially since Tyrells go and besiege Dragonstone in Feast.
And Jon sees a Velaryon banner in the battle against the wildlings.
Plus Lord Velaryon is 7 years old.

Sorry todicpeter, my mystake: you should roll 4d6, not 3. But roll the missing dice and I'll refresh the House's attributes with your rolls.

About the specific location, I believe that as the House takes form you guys will come to a consensus about it.

I've made the rolls for each attribute with 7d6, and with them we have:

                          Historical Events: Favor.

                          DEFENSE: 30 (+5 Crownlands) = 35
                          INFLUENCE: 32 (-5 Crownlands) (+2 Favor) = 34
                          LANDS: 18 (-5 Crownlands) (+4 Favor) = 17
                          LAW: 17 (+20 Crownlands) (+4 Favor) = 41
                          POPULATION: 23 (+5 Crownlands) = 28
                          POWER: 27 (-5 Crownlands) (+1 Favor) = 23
                          WEALTH: 32 (-5 Crownlands) = 27

We still need 4 Historical Events, one for each of the other players! GO!
