I bought Icons Assembed after reading a good review about it and I like the idea of a M&M simpler and faster to play in cons but I now I dissapointed of the almost zero support for the game. The only placce where you can find some product release info is Facebook but there is no official place to check for resources or, at least, is not easily findable.

What about a character sheet? Do I need to create myself a character sheet? The simplest indie game has a character sheet even if it's bad or uncomplete but Icons doesn't have one?

I'm definitely not an expert, but perhaps some of the following might be helpful:

1. There is an Icons Yahoo group that's fairly active. It was easy to join, I thought, and in my experience its members have been very friendly and helpful.

2. Until very recently, there was an Icons Wiki page that had a huge amount of great resources for the game, including write-ups of famous characters and multiple fan-made character sheets. There was discussion in that Yahoo group recently about how this Wiki page had just recently gone down, and about whether someone might bring it back.

3. Most of the supplements for Icons are in PDF format only, as far as I know. The Ad Infinitum facebook page includes this link where you may purchase many of them. (By my quick count, it looks like there's over 20 adventures and other supplements available for purchase on this site currently.)

Thanks for your answer. I know Ad Infinitum has a lot of supplements in Drive Thru Stuff but there is a place to know which of them are compatible for Icons and which for Icons Assembled or which changes will require to use them.

I will take a look to the Yahoo group but I was expecting more from the publishers instead of the community fan unless for something so simple as a character sheet. This really talks really bad about the game.

I'm definitely not an expert (though I do own both "Icons" and "Icons Assembled"), but my anecdotal understanding is that all of those published adventures are compatible with both versions. I'm sure that members of the Icons Yahoo group (including the game's creators) could provide definitive answers to this question, publication-by-publication.

Personally, I thought that the character sheets posted on the Icons Wiki site filled this void. It's too bad that site is currently down.

That being said, character sheets for "Icons" are so minimal, I created my own in minutes.

Wikispaces went from free to a paid format for non-educational wikis. It took some time to work things out with the original wiki creator/owner for Ad Infinitum to sponsor putting the wiki back up but it's available again at:

http://icons-truth-justice-and-gaming.wikispaces.com

The Assembled Edition and Hero Creation Quicksheet downloads (available from DriveThruRPG/RPGNow) have have a form-fillable character sheet added to them. The Hero Creation Quicksheet is a free (pay-what-you-want) download.

I make every effort to announce Icons news on my own blog with the "icons" tag:

http://stevekenson.com/tag/icons/

As well as on the Ad Infinitum Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AdInfinitumAdventures

I might miss some third-party stuff from time to time, as I'm not always notified about it myself.

Pre-Assembled Edition Icons adventures are perfectly compatible with the Assembled Edition, as the game stats remained the same. For a summary of the changes between editions, see:

While I am not an Icons player, I want to thank you, Steve, for all that you do for your fandom.
