So, regarding the Multiattack extra, when attacking a single target multiple times, you essentially do a normal attack check. Depending on the degree success of the attack check, you effectively increase the DC for the effect check?

So, the multiattack extra does not allow you to say do multiple attack (and effect checks assuming the attacks are successfully) on a single target ?

Am I interpreting this correctly?

Am I interpreting this correctly?Right. You have the descriptor of dealing rapid attacks (a flurry of blows, a machine gun burst, or whatever) against a single target, but it is resolved using one attack check, which might give a circumstance bonus to the effect DC of the target's one resistance check.

This is because allowing a single attack to force multiple rolls and potentially apply multiple effect conditions would either be over balanced or redundant, depending on whether the effect is cumulative or not.

Yeah, Greyman has the right of it.
